When looking for a daycare for our son, we were intending to "shop around" a couple of places and see which one felt best. On our first visit to CCQE Pukaki St the staff made us feel so welcome, and our baby boy just fitted in so well, and was so at ease within the surroundings that we didn't bother to look anywhere else. We had found his "second home". The staff make a real effort to get to know both parents and extended whanau that come and go, they make you feel very comfortable. Staff are approachable and compassionate, and children become great mates with each other. There is a wonderful family feel about the centre. Our son had an un-diagnosed medical condition, and this was quite a stressful and upsetting time for us. Throughout the medical journey the staff have been genuinely interested, very supportive and patient, and have coped amazingly well in some very trying situations. The staff are loving, creative, enthusiastic, energetic and firm but fair and consistent. Daycare is a great place for kids to gain confidence and independence. This is encouraged here and is a massive step in children's transition to school. We have loved and cherished the creative and clever keepsakes and craft projects that the children make throughout the year, in particular the special days such as Mother's Day and Father's Day gifts etc. We will be forever grateful to the staff at CCQE for taking such great care of our son for all his preschool years, from aged 11 months to 5 years.
If you are considering choosing Central City Quality Educare ( Pukaki Street) as your child's second home don't hesitate! I promise you that this daycare with its fantastic location and fabulous staff is very rare!! Our wee girl Georgia was 7 months old when we made the decision to choose this daycare... right from day one we knew that she would be safe and well cared for. It is such a welcoming place with a team of the most amazing ladies, Georgia warmed to them all straight away. I felt safe at drop-offs that she would be cared for and nurtured as one of their family. They taught my daughter how to socialise with her peers, Excellent manners, respect, compassion, kindness and their transition to school programme which prepared her for school! Georgia loved going to daycare each and every day, and was always excited to tell me what adventures she had gotten up to, and what she had learnt each evening. I truly believe that my daughters 1st year of school has been made so much easier for her because of this daycare. We cannot thankyou enough for the impact each and every one of you have had on Georgia's life! She would be back there in a heat beat. You will all forever be in our hearts and we thank you so much xx
CCQE (Pukuatua Street) have been a part of our families lives for almost 7 years now. In truth we couldn't have asked for a better day-care to assist us in the 'upbringing' of our precious children Harry age 7 and Adele age 4.
Not only do they support the children in their learning, through free-play, arts and crafts and outdoor adventures, they also work hard at teaching them manners, about making good choices and problem solving, which includes a wonderful transition to school program.
They also support us as parents to understand the different stages our children have gone through and ensuring we are all on the same page for their current age, stage or phase.
When Adele turns five in October and is off to school - I know as a family we will be sad to say goodbye to our CCQE family, but forever grateful at the care that they have provided our children and our family
